ABOUT TEMPER & GLAZE

My name is Jasmin Hartley. I’ve been baking for over 15 years, it’s always been my biggest passion. In 2015 I was a finalist on The Great Australian Bake Off. I won Star Baker twice and the judges particularly loved my brownies, biscuits and macarons. Following the success of the show, my bakes soon became really popular in my home town, and it wasn’t long before people were travelling for miles just to try my sweet treats. This really inspired me and shaped the future of my baking career.

In 2016 I launched my own baking business, Temper & Glaze. This enabled me to share my bakes with others. Everything I make is made using the freshest ingredients, no added preservatives, and a lot of care and attention.

OTHER ADVENTURES

In 2016, my husband Philip and I started Temper and Glaze - The Coffee Caravan! We renovated an old vintage 1960’s caravan to take around the country serving coffee and homemade cakes at festivals and shows! We had an amazing 4 years with the old girl but unfortunately she was on her last wheels and we had to make the decision to part ways with her and move on to a bigger, better coffee van!

In April 2021 we purchased this Renult Lowloader to turn into our brand new coffee van, this would would be bigger and better! We learnt a lot during our 4 years trading with the caravan, like not having enough storage space, the fridge being too far away, and not enough milkshake machines to keep up. So this build we could make all of those changes and make it work perfectly for us! Plus, she’s so beautiful!

In our coffee van we offer all of the classics from lattes to cappuccinos plus more adventurous ones such as our white chocolate hazelnut mocha! Luxury milkshakes and iced drinks. Our coffee beans are our own specialty blend which are roasted in Norfolk just days before our events for ultimate freshness! We offer homemade cakes from the van, fitting for each event (rainbow bakes for Pride!). We also have a fancy machine on board which allows us to print onto our customers coffees, literally anything from logos to quotes and even selfies!
